What is electroplating?
An electroplating treatment provides your metal components with a coating with tailored surface properties through an electrolytic process. You metal components are submerged in an electrolytic solution containing metal ions and an electrode. Metal ions are deposited onto the surface of the metal components when the electrode and the barrel/rack with metal components is supplied with an electric current, forming a coating on the surface of your metal components.
